For most of my life, I ate the standard American diet and meals that were heavy in meat and processed foods. About four years ago, I decided to go vegan for the animals. I stopped eating meat and dairy products for ethical reasons, but my lifelong allergies went away soon after I went vegan! It was an unexpected and happy surprise.

Although I was vegan, I was far from a healthy eater. I ate a lot of processed foods, potato chips, convenience meals, and loved Oreos and Nutter Butter cookies. There was a lot of sugar, oil, and salt in my diet. Even though my allergies had cleared up after switching my diet, I still had many health problems.

DIY Natural Recipe: Activated Charcoal 

Activated Charcoal is a natural treatment used to trap toxins and chemicals in the body. 

NOTE: Not the same as charcoal used for grilling.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL CAN HELP WITH:
  • Cleansing mold 
  • Traps toxins including: bleach, pesticides, mercury, and organic compounds 
  • Reducing high cholesterol 

CAUTION: Don’t take activated charcoal within 90 minutes to two hours of taking any prescription medication or supplements as it can prevent proper absorption.

    HOW TO CONSUME 

    Digestive Cleanse
    Take 10 grams 90 minutes prior to each meal, for two days.
    During the cleanse, eat only organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meat and wild fish. Drink 12 - 16 glasses of water a day to flush out the toxins and prevent constipation. 

    Note: If constipated drink one glass of water with lemon slice and honey every half hour until it is relieved.
